Miyako Island Round Trip YouTuber Kenta's "Discover Ride" series is a collection of bicycle tours to discover the charms of local regions. The eighth installment takes place on Miyako Island, Okinawa, which is his first visit to the island. This is a 2-day/1-night trip in everlasting Summer to four islands connected by bridges, where you can travel around at your leisure by bicycle!
DAY 2 Miyako City - Ikema Island - Kurima Island - Miyako City
Escape the cold winter and enjoy a 2-day/1-night bicycle trip on the ever-Summery island of Miyako. Starting from an old traditional house with a red tiled roof, we enjoyed a lunch full of seafood, the emerald green sea, and a popular local bakery! It was a very exciting ride at the beginning of the new year.

Ride counterclockwise around Miyako Island starting from "Kataaki no Sato" inn. The ride will trace the entire island, including Ikema Island in the northern part of Miyako Island and Kurema Island in the south. No mechanical trouble, no knee bombs, and little traffic on the island roads made the second day comfortable and peaceful (too much?).
ROUTE
Take a direct flight from Haneda, Tokyo to Miyakojima Airport. Starting from a nearby inn, we will circle around Irabu Island on the first day, and on the second day, we will circle around the outer circumference of the main Miyako Island, including two outlying islands. The route is approximately 170km in total.
